Lexus’s new full hybrid luxury compact model is priced at £23,485 on the road. There are three equipment grades available the SE-I, SE-L and SE-L Premier. Ownership costs are kept low thanks to the high fuel efficiency and ultra-low emissions performance of the Lexus Hybrid Drive powertrain producing 94g/km of carbon dioxide. The Lexus Hybrid CT 200h earns a Band A rating for Vehicle Excise Duty which results in a zero annual road tax bill and a 10 per cent Benefit-in-Kind charge for company car tax payers.
The work invested by Lexus in the Lexus CT 200h’s chassis and body forms part of a full dynamic package for the car that includes equally detailed attention to aerodynamics, steering, suspension and even the driver’s position at the wheel to achieve sporty, rewarding performance.
Standard features on the entry level Lexus Hybrid CT200h SE-I include 16in or 17in alloy wheels, six-speaker audio system, USB port, Bluetooth, active brake lights, dual-zone climate control, push button start, LED daytime running lights, rear privacy glass and rain-sensing wipers. Order books are now open with first customer deliveries in early 2011.
