The Range Rover Evoque has notched up its 90th global award by being voted Car of the Year 2012
The Range Rover Evoque has notched up its 90th global award by being voted Car of the Year 2012 by visitors to the MSN Cars automotive website. The Range Rover Evoque collected 12% of the votes followed by the Aston Martin Virage and the McLaren MP4-12C in third place. The competitive MSN Cars' Car of the Year is often won by supercars but this time the prize has been won by a car that many people can realistically aspire to own.
The new Range Rover Evoque is priced at £27,955 for the eD4 Pure five door six speed manual 2WD model. The 4WD equivalent is priced at £28,705. There is a choice of three engines offered, two body styles, three design themes and a wide range of options and accessories.
John Edwards global brand director for Landrover recently said “keeping up with the awards is proving a welcome headache: the speed with which the honours are being collected by the Evoque is breathtaking, as is their global nature. It is a fantastic achievement for all connected with the Evoque project and a great endorsement for the product.”
