Renault Marks F1 Return With £500 Cashback For Fuel Offers

Overview of Renault Clio, Captur and Kadjar as manufacturer tempts motorists with cashback and low cost finance.

£500 cashback until March 31st 2016

Renault has rejoined Formula 1 and invited enthusiasts to “fuel” a passion for motoring with £500 cashback to spend on fuel for the Clio, Captur and Kadjar. Drivers must commit by March 31st 2016; by which point the team will have finished the first race of the year.

Renault Clio overview

2016 Renault Clio

The Clio is a supermini class vehicle so it is externally compact, easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces and cost effective. It is a capable town car, in other words. This 5-door hatchback also comfortably seats 4 and its cargo capacity is a pleasing 300-litres.

Power options include the: 1.2-litre 75hp petrol, 1.2-litre 120hp petrol, 1.6-litre 200hp petrol, 1.6-litre 220hp petrol and the 1.5-litre 90hp diesel. 0-62mph times vary from 6.6 to 14.5 seconds, average fuel consumption from 47.9mpg to 88.3mpg, and carbon emissions – that define the price of road tax - from 82 to 135g/km.

The Expression is the entry-level trim and has: cruise control, hill-start assist to prevent it rolling backward on slopes, and stability control. The top-spec Renaultsport Nav Trophy, in contrast, also has: climate control, a reversing camera and sharper handling. Some Clio models come with 0% APR representative finance.

The Renault Captur is a compact, crossover class, car so blends rugged, off-road, styling with the low running costs more associated with a family vehicle. Expect 5 doors, 5 seats and a 455-litre cargo capacity which can increased to 1,235-litres by folding the rear bench flat. Renault has 0% APR finance offers too.

Renault Kadjar overview

Power comes via a 1.2-litre, 130hp, petrol engine or a 1.5-litre, 110hp, diesel. 0-62mph times vary from 9.9 to 11.9 seconds, fuel consumption from 48.7 to 74.3mpg, and emissions from 99 to 130g/km.

The Expression+ entry level trim has: cruise control, air-conditioning, a tyre pressure monitor plus all-round electric windows. The top-spec Singnature Nav adds: dual-zone climate control, traffic sign recognition and a lane departure warning system.
