Saab will celebrate its 50th anniversary this week and sales are continuing to grow. Last month, more than 1,200 Saab cars were sold in the UK, an 11per cent increase against September last year.
Saab engineers have honed its turbo diesel engines to the latest Saab 9-3 range to deliver class-leading CO2 emissions of just 119 g/km, with exceptionally low combined fuel consumption of 62.8 mpg. The Saab 9-3 180bhp 1.0 litre saloon is not only exempt from vehicle excise duty but it is the most powerful sub120g saloon on sale in the UK. For both private and fleet customers alike, it offers a frugal, tax-efficient solution that’s also fun to drive.
An all-new Saab 9-3 range will be launched in 2012 and next year Saab will expand its product range to include the new Saab 9-4X which will be Saab’s first crossover vehicle.
