Skoda’s new logo
At the beginning of the year Skoda decided to change existing model lines over to its new logo. The Skoda Citigo was the first model to feature the new revised logo followed by the Skoda Rapid, Fabia and the Roomster. The new logo appears in several places both on the outside and inside of the cars, it is on the bonnet, at the rear, on the centre cover of the wheels and/or on the wheel trims, on the steering wheel, the engine cover and on the vehicle key. The Skoda lettering appears in a new typeface and for the first time the Skoda lettering will be at the rear of the car on the Fabia and the Roomster. The new logo brings Skoda a more up to date modern design, the winged arrow is precisely contoured and stands out in chrome on a black-matte background framed by a fine chrome line. The current laurel wreath and integrated Skoda lettering will no longer be included in the new logo.
Skoda’s new modern and fresh appearance moves Skoda into a new growth phase and they believe that by the year 2018 they will have increased their worldwide sales to at least 1.5 million per year.
