The Ferrari 458 Italia been awarded “Supercar of the Year” by GQ magazine. The magazine described the new Ferrari 458 Italia as “a motor that elicits the most primal response from all who see it while moving engineering on to a whole new level” with the engine in particular being described as a “masterpiece”.
The Ferrari 458 Italia has also recently been awarded ‘Car of the Year’ by BBC Top Gear Magazine. It has been the subject of enthusiastic reviews. It is a car that grips turns and stops like wouldn’t believe, rides like a dream for a 200mph plus supercar and lets you choose how much electronic assistance you want. The Ferrari 458 Italia also uses a semi automatic gearbox and has ‘intelligent’ brakes that move the brake pads towards the discs when you come off the throttle. It has unsurprisingly incredible stopping power.
The Ferrari 458 Italia can reach 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph. It will be on sale in June 2011 and will be priced at approximately £155,000.
