The new models which will be hitting forecourts in 2015
A coupé to rival the BMW M3, the RC-F is a performance version of the hotly anticipated Lexus RC. It will be powered by a 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine. Standard kit includes 10-speaker audio system with DAB radio and Lexus Premium navigation.
Vignale is a new interior and exterior design concept from Ford which will be first seen on the new Mondeo. Already demonstrated on the Ford Mondeo Vignale Concept, Vignale models will feature unique design elements, high quality craftsmanship, exclusive specification and advanced technologies.
3.BMW 2 Series Convertible
On sale from February, the BMW 2 Series is a stylish four-seater designed to offer maximum driving enjoyment with the roof up or down. In the UK, 220d and 220i versions will be available in Sport, Luxury and M Sport trim while the 228i is offered in M Sport only and the M235i has its own unique specification. SE models will become available at a later date.
4.Jaguar F-type Project 7
The F-TYPE Project 7 is the most powerful production car in Jaguar's history. It is also the most “performance focussed” version of the F-TYPE Roadster. Only 250 will be hand built by the manufacturer’s Special Operations Team, with first delivery in the middle of 2015. The “Project 7” name pays homage to the manufacturer's seven wins at Le Mans. Furthermore, the styling incorporates elements from the D-Type that took three of the victories.
5. Toyota Mirai
The Toyota Mirai is a hydrogen-powered saloon which is coming to the UK in September 2015. It looks futuristic, and could prove to be a trailblazer that signals a revolution in motoring.
6. Fiat 500X
Yet another addition to the Fiat 500 range, the 500X is a new crossover that will be available in two versions, one an elegant urban model, the other a rugged off-road car.
7. Honda Civic Type R
This high performance version of Honda's small family class hatchback will rival the Ford Focus ST and VW Golf R. Honda claims it is “the most extreme and high performing Type R in the 22 year history of the red H badge”, which signals “the start of a new performance era for the brand”.
8. Honda Jazz
Due to go on sale in summer 2015, the new European Jazz will offer improved fuel economy and higher performance thanks to its new Earth Dreams Technology engine. The new 1.3 litre i-VTEC petrol engine is supported by either a six-speed manual (replacing the previous five-speed unit) or a CVT transmission.
9. Infiniti Q30
The Q30 will give Nissan’s premium arm a car to rival the VW Golf. The manufacturer says Infiniti Q30 Concept deliberately challenges categorisation – not a coupe, not a hatch and not a crossover but a fusion of the three. Inifniti hopes that the car will attract a younger generation of owners.
10. Nissan Pulsar Nismo
The Nissan Pulsar is a small family class hatchback that rivals the Ford Focus and VW Golf. Designed and engineered for Europe, styling is generally restrained but has distinctive elements, including its rear lights.
