The Skoda Yeti has picked up two more awards from HonestJohn.co.uk. The popular crossover was also on the shortlist of five models for the prestigious ‘Car of the Year’ title.
Alasdair Stewart, Brand Director, Skoda UK was delighted with the Yeti’s performance and the awards. He commented “the Yeti embraces Skoda philosophy of outstanding engineering and exceptional value for money, and we’re delighted that car buyers are continuing to respond to that.”
The Skoda Yeti won six awards last year, it is an astonishingly versatile vehicle and there’s plenty more to come from it in 2012. The new Skoda Yeti Urban is now on sale priced from just £16,995 together with £2450 worth of extra specification and three years free servicing. The Yeti Urban is available in two-wheel-drive with manual transmission only, and comes with a choice of two engines. The petrol option is the frugal 1.2-litre TSI 105PS and for the diesel fans there’s the popular 2.0-litre TDI CR 110PS DPF.
