Upgrades for UK’s number one Ford Fiesta

Ford Fiesta is being further enhanced to keep in the favourite small car pole position

The UK’s number one in the sales chart the Ford Fiesta is being further enhanced to keep in the favourite small car pole position.

All newly ordered Ford Fiesta’s will have Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) as standard. The Ford Fiesta Studio series will be fitted with heated door mirrors and an in-car entertainment bonus of remote steering mounted controls, aux-in jack and two additional speakers. The top of the range Ford Fiesta Titanium models now have Bluetooth and USB connection as standard.

The Ford Fiesta engines change to new Stage V emission levels with all diesels fitted with diesel particulate filters (DPF) and on all series including the 98g/km ECOnetic. The diesel engine power increases by 5PS to 95PS from the 1.6 litre TDCi with DPF. The three petrol engines see a reduction in Co2 emissions and for the 1.25 litre Ford Fiesta the 129g/km emissions result in a lower VED band which is an annual saving of £110.

The Ford Fiesta which was recently awarded Auto Express Car of the Year continues to be the UK’s top selling car. With excellent fuel economy, low CO2 emissions, cheap road tax and lower insurance costs the new Ford Fiesta really is worthy of Car of the Year.
