" Utterly phenomenal performance from a car with sporty and yet modest appearance. Economy much better than the reviews would have you believe although the MPG dips to 8 when your foot is to the floor. Costs quite a lot more than the RS4 but indescribably better. Extras can be costly but 21 inch block gloss alloys make the car and the ride is not compromised. No idea what car I would buy next, apart from a new RS6. "

" Love my car. It's everything it says on the tin. This is my 6th Audi RS model. There's nothing out there that closely compares to them unless you pay upwards of £200.000 sterling pounds. "

" Absolutey amazing blistering performance, but also can be docile in everyday town driving, turns heads everyone & regularly receive a wink or approving nod from those who actually know what this rare subtling menacing beast is! Only downside is it averages 14MPG, but then you dont buy a V8 4.2 twin turbo, 450 BHP 0-60 in 4.5 second Estate if your worried about economy ;-) "

" The RS6 is a big car with a big reputation, at one time being the fastest estate car on the planet (it comes in both Avant and saloon versions) and is the sportiest version of the Audi A6. Performance comes from a twin turbo V8 producing 450BHP and bucket loads of torque, delivered by a tiptronic box providing relaxed and luxury motoring with the ability to outpace a super-car. The build quality is typical Audi solid build with high spec with some nice touches like Recaro seats, satnav, cruise etc. Servicing costs can be pricey with Audi, although many independents exist that provide expertise at a cheaper price, and DIY is possible with a little expertise and the help of the many specialist forums and walkthroughs on Youtube. There are some pricey items that may hurt your wallet most notably the DRC (dynamic ride control suspension) that generally fails and needs to be replaced by coilovers (£1k+), gearbox (that needs servicing to make it last, but will probably eventually go needing a replacement for £3k) and consumables like tryes and brakes are going to be fairly costly. But if you go into it with your eyes open, an awareness of costs and what will need doing when, and buy a good used one for a decent price, you will get what is to me, the best of all worlds, an extremely capable fast car that will carry your family, dog, luggage and rubbish around, in comfort and is as at home on a racetrack (albeit not as engaging a driving experience as a manual 911). In short, best car I have ever owned, and I have owned a few amazing cars! "
