" Pros: A good car to drive, easy to live with, looks smart, comfortable driving position, easy to park. Good service at my local mini dealer too. Cons: I've not got a heavy right foot but do well to average over 40mpg. Can get over 50mpg on a run though. Suspension is hard and you feel every rut in the road. 1.6 Cooper engine doesn't feel that quick. "

" Brilliant little car with bags of oomph. For a diesel, the economy is great, road tax at £20 a year is easy on the pocket too. Cheap insurance makes economic sense too. The handling is more akin to a rally car, making easy work of town or motorway driving. Have fitted an under counter dryer in the back so it is very versatile for space, easily fits 4 people in comfort, 5 may be pushing it a tad. Overall great car for those considering downsizing. "

" Looks good, nicely designed interior, a pleasure to drive. Space pretty good for a small car. Good fuel economy (achieved approx 52mpg according to the car); quite nippy but struggles on long hills. I love the barn door style rear doors, makes loading the boot easy, but does significantly reduce visibility in rear view mirror. Zero traction in snow or ice (may be improved with winter tyres: the run-flats it comes with are hopeless). A great car for city or motorway driving, but rubbish on country lanes due to being ridiculously low to the ground, so debris and potholes easily damage tyres, engine and bodywork. Would I buy another one? If I moved somewhere with better road surfaces, yes. "

" It is mini but it's also a van, which can carry long things around, which is exactly what I need. I love the double doors at the back, which open at the press of my key fob and permit me to put shopping inside rather than on the dirty ground while I open the doors, which is very handy, and all the gizmos are fantastic. " A great practical car and fun to drive but purchase price new is high and difficult to get a discount from the dealer- but i got one. No major prblems but tyre prices are high - why are run flats a con inrespect of price! "

" Had 2 Clubman vans (Clubvan) on our fleet over a year, they are brilliant over long distance. Satnav and AC are great, BT is a great asset which works without fault and is clear. DAB Radio is great for the extra radio that isn't available on the normal FM band.Leather sports seat are supportive and fully adjustable to sort the tallest a shortest of our engineers. The only down side is the restrictive access for large objects in the rear, however, running these as company vans is like having a standard mini to drive around in all day, Big smile factor. Economy is superb, on a resent run to Aberdeen from Swindon return at motorway speeds we were getting 61.6 mpg. The 1.6 TD engine is great, and will pull all the way in any gear as smooth as any petrol. No turbo lag at all. Have covered just over 20K in both and no mechanical or electrical issues. Service from our local dealer has been fantastic. For a small company these are ideally suited, yes, load area is restricted, however, it is a small van with high end appeal and great residues. If you need to move bigger equipment you by a bigger van. These were bought to cover a gap in our vehicle fleet, to get in and out of big cities with limited parking at peek times. they fitted the bill exactly. As a company we had tried Fiat/Peugeot/Citroen, Ford, looked at residues against costs and the Mini came top all the way. Why look else where when they have a proven good record, quality of build and good returns. "
