New Hyundai i20 arrives

The new Hyundai i20 has undergone an attractive exterior makeover

The new Hyundai i20 arrived in showrooms on the 7th May. The new Hyundai i20 has undergone an attractive exterior makeover that features new wheel designs plus a hexagonal front grille that is in keeping with Hyundai’s current fluidic sculpture design. Other updates include new rounded front wings while the reshaped bonnet and headlights continue the theme along with new fog light clusters and daytime running lights. The rear of the car has a redesigned bumper and taillights, which helps to add to the i20’s fresh approach.

The popular 1.2-litre petrol engine is now cleaner, more efficient and more powerful than the model it replaces. Fuel consumption has been improved from 55.4mpg to 57.7mg and Co2 emissions are reduced to approximately 114g/km which makes the 1.2 petrol engine one of the most efficient around.

Prices for the new Hyundai i20 start at £9,995 on-the-road for the three-door 1.2 petrol Classic model, while at the other end of the spectrum the range-topping 90ps 1.4 CRDi Style model costs £14,295.
