New Mercedes-Benz C-Class Trims
Hello and goodbye Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon and Estate.
Hello and goodbye Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon and Estate. Goodbye, for starters, to the entry-level SE trim that has been replaced by the Executive SE. This is available in C180 BlueEFFICIENCY, C200 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and C220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY form – which produce 154, 136, and 170PS respectively. Features include new sixteen- inch alloy wheels, a revised grill, LED running lights, and Artico upholstery. Pleasingly, the SE Executive trim only cost £35 more than its predecessor. Want more? Goodbye, then, to the Elegance option and hello to the Luxury Package. This adds a three louver grill with a bonnet mounted three-pointed star, seventeen-inch alloys, an auto-dimming rear- view mirror, electric folding wing mirrors, and chrome/ash trim to the SE Executive. All for £2,000.Goodbye Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sport and hello AMG Sport and AMG Sport Plus. These are available with various engines that produce between 136 and 265PS. The AMG Sport trim has seventeen-inch AMG alloys and halogen headlights, and costs £960 less than the outgoing Sport. Very nice too. In contrast, the AMG Sport Plus trim costs £35 more than the now retired Sport – and has eighteen-inch bi-colour AMG alloys, AMG sports seats, red seat belts, Bi-Xenon headlights, and – in automatic guise – silver gear shift paddles. And, of course, Mercedes-Benz retains its monstrous 457PS 63AMG. Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon and Estate prices range from £25,915 to £57,775. Goodbye to tonnes of cash, then.
