New Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R Limited Edition

Swift Sport SZ-R available from Friday March 1st

Suzuki is releasing a new limited edition, the Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R and only one hundred will be made available. This new model is aimed at buyers who would like to own a Swift Sport with a very distinctive look that is sporty and fun to drive.

Only last year the Suzuki Swift Sport was voted the top rated car in a review of thirty sports car models on sale in Auto Express magazine, this followed an award presented by for the ‘Best Hot Hatchback 2012’. At the time of the award Dale Wyatt, Sales and Marketing Director, Suzuki GB PLC said “we are of course really pleased with our award from which reinforces the message to our customers that Suzuki offers a great value and fun to drive new Swift Sport with higher standard specification, lower emissions and even better fuel consumption than before.” The Suzuki Swift is most definitely a popular sporty number and not so long ago a special edition of the Suzuki Swift SZ-L was released and now from Friday 1st March we have the Swift Sport SZ-R.

Priced only £500 than the standard Swift Sport

The new Swift Sport SZ-R offers a generous amount of standard equipment including auto air conditioning, seven airbags, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and USB port, rear privacy glass and 17-inch wheels. HID Projector headlamps for low and high beam are also fitted as standard and Suzuki point out that this safety feature is often listed as a cost option by its direct competitors as well as on much more expensive cars. The retail price for the new Swift Sport is £14,249 which is only five hundred pounds more than the standard Swift Sport.

The exterior of the car is finished in Cosmic Black with a fantastic Ablaze Red roof, the rear spoiler and door mirrors plus SZ-R side badging complete the sporty look. The interior is equally as impressive as each of the hundred cars has uniquely numbered door sill guards, red accented gear shift knob and red trimmed carpet mats. The car is powered by a 136HP VVT engine which is capable of 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds and goes on to a top speed of 121mph and the most important of all is that is returns 44.1mpg.

On sale Friday 1st March there is only one hundred available so you have to be quick if you want one!
