" This is my second Porsche, having previously owned a 911. A larger family dictated the need for more space. The Panamera is very roomy and comfortable inside, with ample room in the rear seats (though only for two in the rear due to the central tunnel) The 5 door hatchback also gives a decent luggage space. Finish and refinement are top class. Mine is plug-in hybrid model which gives you a 3 litre supercharged petrol engine plus a 95KW electric motor. The car has three distinct "personalities". In the e mode it is almost silent and brisk rather than fast. I manage 11-12 miles on a charge, enough to get me to work without using the petrol engine. In "sport" mode, the engine is used rather more and the performance is what you would expect of a heavy car with a 3 litre engine. In "sport plus" mode, both the engine and the battery are used, the air suspension tightens up and lowers the car and the performance is worthy of the Porsche badge, though this is still not a true sports car, more a very fast grand tourer. Fuel consumption suffers in the sportier settings and if e-charge mode is selected, where the engine charges the battery in the manner of a generator. I am averaging 38mpg in mixed driving using mostly e-mode and sport mode. Overall, I am loving this car. It is more "grown up" than my lairy 911. Once I got used to it's "multiple personalities" it has become a car to accompany me into dignified late middle-age! "

" Have owned many expensive cars, range rover s class merc, rolls Royce, xf jag,6 series BMW convertable, Q7, all very good cars. The Panamera by Porche is the best of the lot. Very practicable , returns over 40mpg, quick, sure footed, well screwed together, looks good plus turns heads. Superb. Wish I'd discovered this car and Porche earlier on in my car buying life ! "

" Good car but no warning device for passenger seat belts providing the driver has his/hers fastened. ie if the driver has children in rear and whilst ensuring they have their seat belts fastened, no warning if they unfasten them.Dangerous. "
