4. Vauxhall Corsa
The Fiesta has outsold the Corsa consistently over recent years but the gap could be narrowing now that Vauxhall has released the latest version of their little supermini. The new Corsa has gone through a complete transformation to bring itself back up to speed with the competition and we’re confident supermini buyers will love it. The most economical model is the 1.3 CDTi which should return up to 83mpg when driven correctly, not far off the most economical Fiesta. The Corsa trumps the Fiesta significantly though when it comes to starting price. The entry-level Vauxhall is priced from £11,735 - almost £4,000 cheaper than the Fiesta.
