The handling is equally enjoyable and the car is agile, composed and refined. The styling pleases both inside and out and the cabin is roomy and comfortable in the front if a touch cramped for rear passegers. The value for money is high even though the retail price is on the high side but sizeable deposit contributions and lots of kit balance this out. The car is good fun. "|

The road holding is excellent; I was almost caught out by a dithering driver and had to enter a roundabout considerably faster than I would usually. The car steered easily around the roundabout with only a slight amount of lean and even when I hit a small bump and the car 'jumped' over to the left, the car resumed the steered direction with no fuss, staying on course. It accelerates well and the braking verges on the extreme. Most people will never approach the limits of this car but, because it is very stable when approaching those limits, the car will never be the problem. I am six foot and the cabin space behind my seat is a little small but I can comfortably move my seat slightly further forward, to accommodate a rear passenger, without compromising my ability to drive safely. Some of the trim is a bit plastic but I don't think you will find any cars in this price range that don't have quantities of plastic. The entertainment and navigation system is easy to use and my phone connects easily via bluetooth so I can take hands free calls with no fuss and then continue to listen to my favourite music or radio station. In navigation mode the screen is very clear and quite large in comparison to most discrete sat-navs. The A/C climate control system works well with large easy to use rotary dials and the round colour accented air vents are considerably better than the normal square ones. I have, with the seats down carried my full drum kit with no problem and have had some weight in the car with no noticeable decrease in the acceleration or braking. In the rear, under the boot floor there is a suitcase sized space that provides extra storage. The lid for this storage area, that makes the boot floor is removable so it will be easy to carry larger object in the back if needs be. This is a very versatile car which is equally happy running down the motorway or operating in traffic. It looks like it is quite a large car but its looks are deceptive. It is actually, when measured against SUV's, quite a small car. So a car the goes well, stops well, can carry a reasonable amount of stuff, is quite cheap to run and huge amounts of fun to drive. Who could ask for more for the price. "|

The driving experience is only comprermised by hard ride over rough roads and the slightly noisy road noise at motorway speeds, driver comfort is good with well padded seats. The auto gearbox suits this car very well with auto manual and paddle shift. Overall mpg for the two litre is around 45 mpg. "|
