" You hear so many 'horror stories' regarding the Juke with the Automatic/CVT gearbox......slow to take up drive, having to rev hard in order to get it going etc etc, but in all honesty I approached it with an open mind and have to say that, unless you the next generation of F1 driver, its a smooth operation which helps to achieve a pleasant driving experience, both in and around town and on the motorway. Having held a driving licence for over 40 odd years and having driven manual operated gearbox vehicles (both car & 44ton artics) and the odd auto box motors, I will say that the CVT box is not suited to everyone but if you're like me, and prefer to drive at a more leisurely pace then all I can say is test drive a motor with the CVT......you just might be pleasantly surprised! " Good drive, average fuel consumption. Well laid out cockpit for the driver and plenty of driver aids. Overall well pleased although the boot space is a little small. "
