Porsche Cayenne User Reviews
|19/04/2017 12:55:27 Natasha Green " If you appreciate a good quality driving experience then the Cayenne GTS will not disappoint. The engine shows its strength every time your foot hits the pedal regardless of whether it's a tootle around town at 30 or a steady pace on the motorway. Convenient driving positioning can be difficult to attain if you are over 6ft tall. Even though there are numerous seat positionings available, the height and back combinations do not compliment a taller person for reading dashboard instruments properly. The suede and leather interior are smart and practical and the carpets are excellent quality, although not entirely suited to pets travelling due to the depth of the plush trapping pet hairs. Cruise control and other functions are very easy to use and the back seats are easy to drop for extra loading space if required. Fuel consumption is of course compliant with the size of the engine. Being a 4.8 V8, heavy fuel consumption goes with the territory and an average around town being 12-14mpg is realistic. Overall, this is a car lovers car that offers family or business practicality and keeps your driving experience interesting and satisfying. "|

Obviously it is fairly thirsty as it is big and heavy but it can tow 3.5 ton and hold 5 in real comfort with space left over so we weren't expecting it to be frugal. We got a great deal and can't believe entry to the Porsche way of life can be had for Volvo money. Will certainly look to buy another porsche due to quality and dealer support. Fantastic machine with awesome engineering, I don't think anyone could be disappointed with one of these. "|

Maybe its just us taking everything and the kitchen sink! We are a family of four with my son aged 5 and daughter aged 2. There is plenty of space for them in the back with their car seats and still some space to use of the centre seat. After test driving a few others of similar size. We opted for the Cayenne. Yes it is expensive but I believe in you get what you pay for.(thats from someone Scottish and from the country, :) ) I admit the extras that come as standard are sparse. We get 38-39 Mpg on the instrument cluster. That's predominantly town / village driving and the odd long run into the city. On longer runs it can climb into the 40's. Again not too bad for the size of car. The car has 3 service intervals again I didn't thing they were to outrageously priced but everything these days seems to have a handsome price tag. In my area a Vauxhall can cost £200 for a service so an extra £100 or so for a Porsche doesn't seem too bad. "|
