AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. We purchased a 3 year old low milage peugeot 307sw from them Sept 2010. When we viewed the car we noticed some paint work damage to the bottom of the tailgate where it had been catching on the rear bumper. Pointed this out to the salesman & he assured us that this would be rectifired by a professional bodywork company before we collected the car. Agreed to purchase the car. Collected the car and checked the tailgate OK. 2 weeks later we noticed the paint had been damaged again as the tailgate was still catching on the bumper. Telephone the dealership and returned the car for them to inspect it as requested. The car has been returned to them 3 times now in the last 3 months with this same fault every time. Each time their "technicians" have failed to correct the fault. Bumper & tailgate have both been adjusted but we still have a car with damaged paintwork and rust forming on the bare metalwork. We have since found out that the paintwork is being done onsite in a small white tent area at the dealership by a "chips away" type service. THIS IS NOT THE QUALITY OF SERVICE YOU EXPECT FROM AN APPROVED PEUGEOT MAIN DEALER. We have recieved no apologies from the company for the inconvenience caused to us and they even tried to charge us for the courtsey car loaned to us whilst the car was with them for them to repair the faults. We are currently writing to Peugeot, talking to trading standards and seeking legal advice regarding a refund on the car but they are completely refusing. MY ADVICE IS DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THE SALEMEN TELL YOU - £8000 paid for a car which was sold with a fault and still has the same fault. Paintwork peeling off the tailgate & rusting. A complete disgrace !!!! Buy from a company who offer 30 day moneyback/exchange deals. Wish we had.
