UNBELIEVABLE - One of the WORST Customer Experiences ever- MUST READ On Easter Friday morning we drove to Welling from NorthEast London to view a used DS3, as booked the day before. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us the car and gave us the key to have a look around the car until Ray Morris (who we booked the appointment with) was called out of the office to discuss price and details. When Ray arrived together with Thomas, one of the salesmen, I was about to open the hood and take a look inside while my girlfriend discussed the possibility of taking it for a test drive. Ray insisted that if the car was taken out for a drive we would HAVE to put a deposit down. Upon explaining that we have looked at a few DS3 already and that we might have to think about it overnight, Ray aggressively grabbed the car key from my girlfriend's hand and quickly shut the hood lid loudly saying we should get out. Questioning his behavior and pointing out that, as any buyer, we have done our research before visiting, Ray decided that he didn't care about making the sale as, and I quote verbatum, ''HE IS A MILLIONAIRE'' and we need to leave. As we all started to part ways and to top it all off, when I said that his behavior was unacceptable and that he was getting a bad review, he rushed back literally in my face and shouted ''I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU'' ! What ? Not sure if there is some sort of underlying mental issue, however this is most certainly not a way to treat a prospective customer. Legal action is an option however I really hope, given that the company has been in the area for several decades, that Ray Morris and the upper management can find a solution to this if they care about their brand. My only recommendation for anyone thinking of doing business with Automatic Cars Ltd is take your money somewhere else - they are already millionaires and obviously couldn't care less about your commerce. Really bad service, no help whatsoever as well as the car being sold to me had undisclosed failing brake lights and the exhaust has holes. Would not recomend
