Car or boat on the Lakes
A car that can swim?
Emma Green from Motoring.co.uk spent an August weekend in the Lake District. Emma who is the dealer account manager at Motoring.co.uk decided to take the well known tourist steam boat ride on Lake Ullswater. The steam boat travels from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding via Howtown.
Once arriving in Howtown Emma heard laughing and giggling coming from a small pebble beach where there is a jetty. She watched as a small green car drove down the slope towards the lake with four people in it! Laughter then spread to the passengers on the steam boat as they watched the car sail past them it seems to be a new tourist attraction!!!
