The Nurburgring in Germany will host the 10th round of the 2011 Formula One season. The Nurburgring is in Nurburg, Germany and the track is around 3.199 miles long. The 2011 Formula race will run for a total of 60 laps, and a total distance of around 191.94 miles. The Nurburgring consists of 15 turns, with 6 left-handers and 9 right-handers.

Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel heads to his home country of Germany with a championship lead of 80 points. His team mate Mark Webber is second, with Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso third on 112 points, just 12 points behind the Australian driver.

The 2010 German Grand prix was held at the Hockenheimring with Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso finishing first ahead of team mate Felipe Massa in controversial circumstances, after Ferrari ordered Felipe Massa to let Fernando Alonso through in to pole position. Sebastian Vettel finished third. The 2011 German grand Prix looks set to be as exciting as Silverstone a fortnight ago, due to the off-throttle blown diffuser ban helping McLaren and Ferrari to close the gap on Red Bull Racing.
