An analysis of MOT records has revealed that an average of 88.2% of Lexus cars registered in 2008 passed their first MOT against a national average of 80%. Lexus is also the best performing manufacturer when analysing all MOT records, with a pass rate of 75.3%. MOT data has been collected since 1980, a total of 24.5 million records.

Richard Balshaw, Director of Lexus GB said ‘these results reinforce the simple message that, if you buy a Lexus, you are buying a car that is of the highest quality.’

The new Lexus CT is currently available from only £249 per month. It is powered by Lexus Hybrid Drive, the five door Lexus delivers leading-edge full hybrid performance, combined with exceptionally low CO2 emissions and great fuel efficiency. Co2 emissions are only 94g/km so road tax is at zero and company car tax is 10%. The car returns 68.9 mpg and the hybrid components are covered by a five-year/60,000-mile warranty.
