Party time... Kia UK has beaten its best ever annual sales record with two months of the year remaining. Fancy celebrating with a drink? As such, 57,736 cars found their way to the party in the first ten months of the year. This eclipses the full year figure from 2010 and represents a 21.4% increase compared to the same period last year. That is something to celebrate... perhaps with a cocktail sausage on a stick. Furthermore, Kia UK sold 4,837 units in October alone - representing a 13.2% increase compared to the same time in 2011.

Michael Cole, Managing Director of Kia Motors UK Limited, revealed: "It’s great to have passed our record 2010 total with two months of the year to go.” He continued: “Our recently revised product line-up is proving popular with customers and it’s thanks to our excellent dealer network that - even without the Scrappage Incentive Scheme that we had two years ago - we continue to increase our appeal amongst both private and business users.”

Kia UK has certainly earned its sales. Why? Because it now brings fantastic value vehicles to the party. The all-new cee'd, for example, is a beautifully equipped alternative to the Ford Focus. This costs from only £14,395 and there is a spacious estate version too. This complements the Rio supermini that has an electronic stability programme, Bluetooth, and MP3 playback as standard. All from £9,995. You could pay more for party snacks. Or, motorists can choose the entry-level Picanto city car from £8,045. This averages a pleasing 67.3mpg, can be taxed for free, and has five seats. Plus – of course – every new Kia has a seven year warranty. That really is something to celebrate. So, can I come to the party too?
