Malaysian F1 Race Preview

Next stop on the calendar is the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. With the unpredictable nature of the weather, it’ll either be a washout, or very hot and humid, which will make for an interesting couple of days for the drivers both on and off the track.

Sebastian Vettel dominated the weekend in 2011 and took a lights to flag victory from pole position. Lewis Hamilton, alongside him on the front row had an eventful race, one which saw him head to the pits four times.

A battle with Fernando Alonso caused both drivers to have 20 seconds added to their final race position - Hamilton for making more than one change of direction in defending his position from the Spaniard, whilst for Alonso in causing a collision with his former team-mate.

With Jenson Button showing his prowess in Melbourne at the season opener, will Vettel be able to take another win at the Asian circuit, or will Hamilton find the pace to take the top step?
