New Chevrolet Trax to debut at Paris Motor Show

The new Chevrolet Trax will debut at Paris Motor Show next month. The new model represents Chevrolets first entry to the fast growing small SUV segment.

It is a modern, highly versatile yet fuel-efficient small SUV, offering car-like handling and all-wheel drive, Trax is the modern expression of one of Chevrolet’s core competencies, which is building and selling great SUVs.”

The Chevrolet Trax has extremely generous cargo space with room for five passengers. In addition to a 60/40 split rear seat, Trax boasts a front passenger seat which can be folded flat, offering additional flexibility in the segment. A total of eight seating combinations can be selected.

The interior will be of a very high standard similar to that found in more expensive vehicles. The Trax is expected to share the same engine line-up as the Mokka, which includes a 138bhp 1.4-litre petrol engine and a 128bhp 1.7-litre turbo diesel. Two and four-wheel drive versions will be offered.

The Chevrolet Trax will go on sale in the first quarter of 2013, with prices expected to start from £15,000.
