New Mercedes C-Class Estate arrives September

The new Mercedes C-Class Estate will arrive in the UK this September priced from £28,055. There are five engine options offered and three model lines;  the SE, Sport and AMG.  Starting the range is the C 200 petrol engine, producing 184 hp and emitting 128 g/km of CO2, the C 200 is available with a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearbox. Two diesel engines; the 220 BlueTEC and the 250 BlueTEC produce 170 hp and 204 hp and emit from 108 g/km and 117 g/km of CO₂respectively. The 220 BlueTEC is available with a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearbox. Two further engines include a C 200 BlueTEC diesel and the C 300 BlueTEC HYBRID will join the range later in the year.

Four option packages are available; the Executive package is priced at £995 available on the SE which includes the Garmin Map Pilot navigation system, heated front seats and chrome rather than black roof rails. The Premium Package adds a panoramic glass sunroof, Keyless-Go, the ambient lighting system and the electric seat memory package. The Premium Plus Package brings the mighty Burmester surround sound system and COMAND Online. The packages cost £1,595 and £2,795 respectively.

There are further options including the Driving Assistance Package priced at £1,495 and available on the Sport and AMG Line models which includes the Blind Spot Assist, Distronic Plus, Lane-Keeping Assist and the Pre-Safe anticipatory safety system.

The AirMATIC Agility Package priced at £895 allows the suspension on the C-Class Estate to self-level and be raised by 25mm when required as well as varying to allow different damping characteristics. The Air-Balance package, meanwhile, allows a fragrance to be diffused around the interior of the car via a small container found in the glovebox.

Mercedes C Class Estate boasts sporty design 

The new Mercedes C Class Estate boasts a sporty design plus the innovative technology and has greater cargo space than its predecessor.
