New Peugeot 208 on sale next summer

The new Peugeot 208 will be on sale next summer available as a three door and five door. Five diesels engines will be offered all of which will be below the road tax threshold of 100g/km of Co2 emissions with one of the diesels only producing just 89g/km emissions and returning 81.3mpg. Two of the petrol engines available will also be exempt from road tax.

The Peugeot 208 will attract female customers which is its main target. The interior design of the car is by Anna Costamagna and the colour and trim is the work of Marie Sanou.

The car will feature a small steering wheel and a tablet computer like screen together with a smart panoramic glass roof surrounded by neon like LED lights.

Prices for the new Peugeot 208 will start at approximately £10,000 rising to £16,000, it has been reported that a GTI version will follow.
