New SEAT £500 Savings During Event In May 2016
New SEAT Leon and Ibiza overview as manufacture cuts the cost of motoring for a short period in the United Kingdom.
“Beautifully Made May Event” explained
The SEAT “Beautifully Made May Event” ensures motorists that test drive new vehicles receive £500 towards their purchase until May 31st 2016. This incentive relates to the manufacturer's entire range, is for retail customers aged 18+, and can be used in conjunction with any other offer. Test drives can be booked online.
SEAT Leon range overview (£17,400 - £27,910)
The SEAT Leon is a potential purchase and comes in a variety of forms. These include the 5-Door which is a “practical family hatchback” with “parent approved technology” such as safety features, SEAT argued. On this basis, the Leon – a small family class vehicle - claimed a maximum, 5-Star, Euro NCAP safety rating.
The LEON ST (Sports Tourer) enables motorists to “say yes to activity packed weekends” thanks to its large, estate-style, boot, SEAT revealed. Cargo capacity is 587-litres even with 5 people aboard. In comparison, the 5-Door Hatchback's volume is 380-litres.
The SEAT Leon X-PERIENCE builds on the strengths on the Sports Tourer thanks to its 4-wheel-drive system. It also has a higher ride height - which helps negotiate off-roads hazards – plus more rugged, off-road, styling. “Where will it take you”, SEAT enquired?
The Leon SC is the “athletic” version of the 5-Door Hatchback. This 3-Door coupé is, therefore, slightly shorter and wider than its sibling and has a sportier look. It provides a “precise, agile, responsive driving experience at every turn”, the manufacture said.
The SEAT Leon CUPRA 3-Door/5-Door Hatchback are “raw, passionate and thrilling to drive”, SEAT revealed. The 2.0-litre, 290PS, petrol engine propels them to 62mph in 5.8 seconds and on to 155mph. It also generates 350Nm of torque between 1,700 - 5,800rpm.
SEAT Ibiza range overview (£8,995 - £18,100)
The SEAT Ibiza is a smaller, supermini class, alternative to the Leon. The 5-Door Hatchback version “creates an impression” and has a 292-litre boot. The ST (estate), in contrast, has a 430-litre capacity and its higher roof line helps it take larger, boxier, items.
The Ibiza SC is the 3-Door version that has a sportier look. Its “streamlined proportions give it a road presence that makes it really stand out from the crowd”, SEAT said. Clever features – many of which are available on its siblings too - include a reversing camera, satellite navigation plus the tiredness recognition system.
The Ibiza CUPRA is a high performance version of the SC. It is a “real head turner” thanks to its sporty exterior that includes red brake callipers, the manufacture said. The 1.8-litre, 192PS, petrol engine propels it to 62mph in 6.7 seconds, and top speed is 146mph.
