New Suzuki Swift Special Edition SZ-L

Additional Production Run

Due to success earlier this year Suzuki has re-introduced the Special Edition Swift SZ-L with an additional production run for the second half of the year and it is on Suzuki’s VAT free promotion until the end of September.

The SZ-L is based on the 1.3 litre SZ3, standard specification includes seven airbags, ESP, air conditioning, USB port and Bluetooth and LED daytime running lights and adds exclusive two-tone metallic paintwork in either Boost Blue or Cosmic Black with contrasting Cool White roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors. The car offers value for money in terms of running costs, the 1.2-litre Dual VVT 94PS engine is one of the most powerful in its class, but offers low emissions of just 116g/km CO2 costing £30 in annual VED after the first year and returns a frugal 56.5mpg on the combined cycle.

It is the ideal purchase for the younger generation as the SZ-L sits in the same insurance group as the rest of the Swift range. For a small car it is also worth remembering the Swift is quite spacious inside, it also has a five star Euro NCAP rating and scored ninety-four points for Adult occupancy protection at launch in 2010, the highest of vehicles tested at the time.

Available on the VAT free promotion until 30th September the three door model is priced from £11,099 and £11,599 for the five door model.  A range of flexible payment options from Suzuki Financial Services are available too with a PCH (Personal Contract Hire) option for the five-door model at just £145 per month. This is spread over a forty-two month term with an initial down payment of £1,740. Alternatively, a low rate PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) is on offer and the five-door model is available for £149 per month, also over a forty-two month term and with an initial deposit of £1,699. Suzuki Swift passes the three million mark

Earlier this year Suzuki announced that global sales of the Suzuki Swift passed the three million mark. Since the launch in the UK of this popular supermini back in 2005 more than eighty thousand Swifts have been sold which accounts for 36% of the UK sales mix. It is an attractive small call with great fuel economy keeping costs to the minimum and it is also fun to drive.
