On sale January the Peugeot 5008

Peugeots new seven seater Peugeot 5008 will be on sale in January, priced at approximately £16,895.

The Peugeot 5008 is based on the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso it has the same clever seating system which allows the middle row of seats to fold flat and the rear two to be hidden under the floor.

Available with a wide choice of petrol and diesel engines, the most popular will probably be the 1,560cc, 110bhp diesel Sport version (from £18,395) with up to 192lb ft of torque at 1,750rpm. Trim levels are Active, Sport and Exclusive. Equipment levels and options cover a broad span and can include an excellent head-up display, and a multimedia system with screens in the front seat headrests.

A panoramic roof is standard on the Exclusive but this is non opening. For its type it rides and handles well and does not feel clumsy when manoeuvring in tight spaces. It is highly aerodynamic and cruises quietly in fact it seems the Peugeot 5008 is fun to drive.
