Order books open for the Volkswagen Eos Open-Top

Order books in the UK are now open for the Volkswagen Eos convertible, prices start at £22,895 on the road. Examples of the first Volkswagen Eos arrive at Volkswagen retailers early 2011.

Powering the Volkswagen Eos is a range of powerful yet efficient TSI petrol and TDI diesel engines ranging from 122 PS to 210 PS, each equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox or, on selected models, the option of a six-speed DSG gearbox.

The Volkswagen Eos features a five piece folding roof with an integrated tilt sliding glass sunroof. To go from open to closed takes just twenty five seconds and can be done via the key fob.

 

The boot capacity for the Volkswagen Eos ranges from 205 litres when the roof is down up to 380 litres when the roof is closed.

The revised look of the new Volkswagen Eos Convertible includes a new front bumper with a reprofiled bonnet. A set of new headlight units similar to the Golf and the option of integrated LED daytime running lights will complete the look. At the rear of the Volkswagen Eos a new set of tail lights give the car a distinctive new appearance.
