Seat celebrate 25 years

Twenty five years ago British motorists were introduced to the Seat Ibiza when the Spanish brand opened its doors in the UK. Seat UK is now a thriving business with just under 500,000 sales to its name. Commenting on the Spanish firm's successful first quarter century of operation here, Seat UK boss Peter Wyhinny said &lsquo it&rsquo s been an exciting, eventful and above all successful first 25 years for SEAT in the UK. &lsquo With almost half a million cars registered here over that time, and with an exciting range of new models in the pipeline, I truly believe there&rsquo s never been a better time to be associated with the brand.&rdquo

The Seat Ibiza is a handsome yet slightly unusual hatchback that stands out. It is very spacious inside and can accommodate four adults with the rear boasting lots of head and legroom. The Seat Ibiza five door&rsquo s boot is 292 litres and is a good shape and size. Inside the Seat Ibiza the dashboard has some nice bits including a sweep of lighter shade plastic across the front. Driver and front passenger and two layers of side airbags are standard on the Seat Ibiza as are anti lock brakes.

Seat have expanded since the first Seat Ibiza, they have one of the broadest product ranges in history comprising the Seat Ibiza SC, the Seat Ibiza 5dr, the Seat Ibiza ST,  the Seat Leon,  the Seat Altea, the Seat Altea XL, the Seat Exeo, the Seat Exeo ST and the Seat Alhambra.
