Audi places tremendous value on active safety systems for accident avoidance. A standard high-performance ESP stability system with electronic limited slip differential was therefore one of the first items in the requirements specification for the development of the Audi A1. This system is responsible for the Audi A1’s high stability and very neutral handling in corners.
The new Audi A1 model has standard features that include engine start-stop function, energy recuperation, alloy wheels, air conditioning, single CD audio system with MP3 compatibility and ESP with latest differential lock system. The Audi A1 has plenty of legroom in the rear and the boot is spacious too. High quality materials have been used throughout the car and with a starting price of £13,420 the Audi A1 is competitive on price whether you choose the 1.2 or 1.4 litre petrol or the 1.6 litre turbo diesel.
