Vauxhall Corsa is the new British School of Motoring Fleet Car

The popular Vauxhall Corsa is replacing the Fiat 500 as the British School of Motoring Fleet Car

The popular Vauxhall Corsa is replacing the Fiat 500 as the British School of Motoring Fleet Car. Vauxhall will provide BSM’s 3250 strong fleet with 1.2 ecoFLEX and 1.4 litre 5-door Corsas over several years. The move will give Vauxhall great exposure as the car of choice for instructors at Britain’s leading driving school.

Every Vauxhall Corsa model except the Vauxhall Corsa VXR now has lower emissions and improved fuel economy and Vauxhall has also added more standard equipment. The 1.0-litre now produces 65PS (up 5PS), yet emits just 117g of CO2, dropping it two VED bands and meaning that owners now pay just £35 per year in road tax, down from £120, and none at all from next April.

Vauxhall fleet sales director Maurice Howkins said “it’s fantastic that we can bring our award-winning cars to Britain’s most popular driving school and help learner drivers with the best possible start to their driving life. The new deal will make the Vauxhall Corsa even more visible on the UK’s roads and as the car of choice for instructors and learners, will underline BSM’s position as market leader.
