World’s most ‘expensive car crash’

A fleet of high performance cars have been involved in one of the most expensive accidents ever after an astonishing multi car pile up in Japan.

The cars involved included eight Ferraris, three Mercedes Benz cars and a Lamborghini Diablo. Also included in the pile up was the Japanese supercar Nissan GT-R Skyline and a Toyota Prius.

Miraculously, none of drivers were seriously hurt in the wreckage but the bill is still bound to be painful nonetheless. Several of the luxury cars have been written off, leaving their owners with the nightmare scenario of seeing their prized possessions turned into expensive scrap metal. The total damage bill is expected to hit several million pounds

It is thought the crash occurred when the lead driver hit a central barrier after losing control of their Ferrari while trying to overtake in wet conditions.

My comment is to 90% of all the sad, jealous, pathetic comments on here by individuals who can only dream of owning such a car. You total bunch of losers. Me a Ferrari driver.. Why? Cos I can. Oh one last thing we supercar drivers live the dream you bunch cant!!

The Prius did it ! pottering about at 37 mph , what do they expect.

"Should have gone to spec savers" and "Go compare" spring to mind. also glad that these cars are written off that way it keeps them out of the hands of rich nobs who think they own the road and pull out of junctions expecting you to stop or turn right from a left hand lane etc you know the type and probably know someone just like the lead driver!

overtaking in wet,on fat as hell tyres, spray up to your ears and probably boys with brains in their pants. They deserve all that they get but the innocent drivers of the Prius they were probably overtaking should be compensated for personally out of the individual pockets of the tossers doing the overtaking. Not that it should be left to all motorists to pick up the bill for Crass idiocy.

Just another example of extremely bad driving. Driving too close to the car in front. Why don't drivers ever learn?

Blame the Prius!

Don't buy an expensive car!!!!

I do so hope that their insurances don't cover them for motorsports & racing...LOL....

Ooops!
